I'd always assumed that Playgroup's "Going Overdrawn" was the original track and the Chantage vocals were recorded later, but according to this interview with Vivien Goldman, it was "It's Only Money" that's the original Bomb magazineIn it she talks about using the Hungarian violinist she heard in a local restaurant and going out to find a steel pan player. Good stuff. Still prefer the Playgroup version though Also bought the French 7" recently

Wonder what the sound quality of those 12" mixes squeezed onto a 45rpm 7" will be like? Spose there's only one way to find out (dammit!)

Wonder what the sound quality of those 12" mixes squeezed onto a 45rpm 7" will be like? Simply cutting the song almost in half. 12 duration is 5:35, while single version is only 2:57, according to discogs. I don't have the 7".
