Sinéad O'Connor's 2002 album Sean-Nós Nua was the first thing I pulled off the shelf after learning of her tragic death. AMS produced, and many On-U associates were involved: Skip, Bubblers, Nick Coplowe, Alan Branch, and Professor Stretch.
It's an album of traditional songs (and mostly traditional instruments such as fiddle, whistle, and Bodhrán). Adrian employs a light touch (similar to his work with Ian King and Dave Dobbyn), but Bubblers' bass is loud and clear on "Óró Sé Do Bheatha 'Bhaile" and there's a reggae influence on "Báidín Fheilimí" and "My Lagan Love" as well.
Here's a video of a lovely live performance from 2000 of Sinéad singing "Jealous" backed by Skip on acoustic 12 string guitar. You can also see Skip in the "Lagan Love' video.
