There's a Deluxe version of ADF's last album, Access Denied, being released on Record Store Day June 12th. To quote from the RSD UK website: "We’ll be adding a new version of ”Comin’ Over Here” featuring another section from Stewart’s classic monologue plus two previously unreleased tracks from a special one-off with none other than Adrian Sherwood at the controls."Did he have anything to do with the original release? I'd assumed not, so hadn't bothered buying it, but that may now change with this new version.

Mmmm at first read i thought that '... Stewart's classic monologue...' referred to our beloved Mark, who also recites 'Access Denied...'.

I feel a Richard Osman's House of Games answer smash question is in the making there. Answer ..... Mark Stewart Lee. Apologies to all non-UK readers that may not get that game show reference.

"from a special one-off with" ... one-off what? Is there a word missing here? recording? session? event? (there was that stuart lee/ams interview thing somewhere a few years back)

I've no idea what that one-off was. I only know as much as that RSD description. Hopefully all will become clear when they release it in June.

Live mix/es as in he mixed it while they were playing live, or he mixed it live, as in, in one go? Or something else?

Hope this answers your questions. It's from an interview here. " The new versions of Kursk Down and Hovering Shadows were produced by Adrian Sherwood, who, needless to say, has been a legend in the dub music scene. ADF has had a story of collaborating with Adrian. Was the working process organized in any specific way?We did it in the style he used to do records and still does. He gets a set of live musicians and then dubs them live. And that would be an album. Basically, we did a special gig, just for that, at the Ramsgate Music Hall which has become quite a prestigious venue in Britain. It’s quite small but it’s an amazing little place. Adrian set out a sound system because he lives there. We went and did the whole instrumental set there. So Hovering Shadows and Kursk Down are live tracks that were mixed by Adrian, with a few little tweaks from me. There is not much drums and beats on them, almost classic live dub going on. We were pretty happy with the way that turned out."
